Ribble Link – Southbound

Lancaster Canal to Leeds Liverpool Canal

This was our first trip heading from Lancaster canal to the Leeds Liverpool canal.

The big thing i learnt on this journey is when turning right out of savick brook be on full power and keep to the right of the centre of the river, as if you aim for the middle you will just go backwards as the flow is very strong in the middle of the river.
